Therapy Services & Education

At Sanctree, assessment and therapy work hand in hand — giving you both clarity and the support to move forward.
Sanctree Psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

CBT is a practical, structured therapy that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It's particularly effective for anxiety, depression, OCD, and panic. Sessions are collaborative and goal-focused, with activities between sessions to help embed change at your own pace.

Sanctree Psychology, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy

Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing

EMDR is a powerful, evidence-based therapy for trauma and PTSD. Rather than talking through difficult experiences in detail, EMDR helps your brain process and make sense of distressing memories — reducing their emotional impact. It works across past experiences, present triggers, and building resilience for the future.
Sanctree Psychology, Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy

Schema Therapy is a longer-term approach that explores how early life experiences shape the patterns and beliefs we carry into adulthood. It's particularly helpful for deep-rooted difficulties and complex problems, using a combination of talking, practical exercises, and compassionate exploration to bring about lasting change.
Sanctree Psychology, Person Centred Therapy (PCT) or Counselling

Person Centred Counselling

Person Centred Counselling offers a warm, non-directive space where you lead the conversation. There is no set agenda — sessions are guided entirely by what feels most important to you. The focus is on feeling genuinely heard and understood, in an environment free from judgment.
Sanctree Psychology, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)

Compassion Focused Therapy

CFT is particularly helpful for people who struggle with self-criticism, shame, or harsh inner voices. It gently encourages a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself — using mindfulness, guided imagery, and practical exercises to activate your natural capacity for warmth and self-understanding.
Sanctree Psychology, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT helps you build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions — not by fighting or avoiding them, but by learning to accept them as part of being human. The focus is on clarifying what matters most to you and taking meaningful steps forward, even in the presence of discomfort.
